Logline: When a girl discovers her night out with a friend was actually a date, she questions her sexuality.
This short premiered at The Music Box Theatre and was an official selection at DePaul's Premiere Film Festival. It was nominated for Best Writing, Best Ensemble, and Best Undergraduate Directing.
Beauty (2022)
Logline: After finding a genie that would grant her wishes, a woman goes back to her apartment to decide with her roommate what her one last wish should be.
Kylie created this film through an Independent Study at her university. The story was adapted from a 10-minute play she got the rights to and the film's crew was comprised of all women and non-binary people.
miss me? (2022)
Logline: A detective is in the middle of finishing up their last job for their boss, but an unexpected visitor foils their plans.
This project was made through Kylie's Production II class where they create films every two weeks. She and her crew shot this in a day and the location was a new house Kylie just moved into.
The Reader (2022)
Logline: A reader at a coffeeshop encounters a strange, cloaked figure and the artifact he leaves behind.
This project was also made through Kylie's Production II class. She scouted out a cafe near her, signed a Location Agreement form for the first time, and shot the film over night. This one may give you goosebumps...
A Testament (2019)
Logline: A girl has an unexpected visitor who questions the validity of her family with her religious-backed accusations.
This was the first ever narrative film Kylie made at her university. It was based on a true story and was made for her Film Production I class. Kylie called up some old high school theatre friends to act in it.
